Buyers are Changing

There's a shift happening... I would call it subtle, but it isn't. It is powerful & potent.

Buying behaviour is changing. 

Can you feel that too? Customer journey is taking longer... longer to build trust, and longer to make decisions.

Yes, I think this is partially happening because AI is causing a trust erosion. And the explosion of content that is, well, basically useless information. And the part about how none of us can tell what's AI and what's human anymore.

But if we are being real... the trust erosion has been happening for sometime for many economic, politcal and social reasons.

And if you are in sales or business (I mean, most of us are in both)... this trust erosion is affecting your sales cycle.

But now, more than ever, your work is needed.
Now, more than ever, your gifts are needed.
Your financial empowerment is critical.
The guidance and support your clients need is more pressing.
The level of discernment, nervous system regulation, mindfullness and clarity required to move through life is higher than it's ever been. I think we can all agree... it's freaking exhausting.

So what do we do?

Honestly... we get back to the basics.
We drop the excessive noise, confusion, and chaos.
We step into our power and clarity... so that we may hold space for others to do the same.

I asked myself the other day if I had to start from scratch, what would I do?

And here is the simple, basic steps I woudl take.
Now let's be clear. It sounds simple and basic... but it gets overcomplicated so dang easily.

I’ve been a service-based biz owner for 13 years. And if I had to start from scratch… here’s exactly what I would do ➡️

1. I’ld get very clear on WHO I can help, and the problem I can solve.

👏People pay to solve problems 👏

2. I’ld commit to 3️⃣ strategies to grow my community and build connections.

Commit hard and go all in, taking action 5 days per week on at least one, and rotating them through the week.
No, social posting isn’t enough. You need 3.

3. I'ld build clear decision points into my model.

An opportunity for clients to choose.
A pitch, a proposal, outreach, workshops, low cost offer, a consult... a clear way for a client to say YES or NO with trust and clarity.

4. I would make sure my offer was PROFITABLE.

No point in building on a foundation of sand... be honest.
Can you make money at this?

And sometimes that requires some outside input bc we have blinders on for our hype

5. Finally - I would build a clear assessment or diagnostic tool.

Something simple and accessible that would make my clients see very clearly:
✅ What their problem is.
✅ That my system can help them.
✅ What the ROI is for their investment.

Now... here's the thing...None of this is flashy or trendy or fancy.

 

It’s fundamentals. A return to basics.
And fundamentals are what hold up strong businesses in unstable times.

 

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or questioning your traction, don’t assume you need something more complicated.
In fact... please DON'T get more complicated bc that will fry your nervous system.

Instead, ask yourself... how can I return to basics?
What I am doing to avoid clarity?
Where am I hoping for something, instead of taking action on something?

And yes... there might be a trust erosion out there.

But HERE is where you have influence.
And you can create a brand that is solid, and build on trust, integrity and authenticity.

Side note: Integrity comes from the word integer which means whole in latin. So integrity is your wholeness.  Which is a becoming. A deepening. And embodiment (and definitely not a one-off)

That’s how trust is built to create a solid brand.
That’s how momentum returns to attract and retain aligned clients.
That’s how sustainable revenue is created with strong systems and foundations in place.
