There's a silent epidemic in the helping professions:

practitioner burnout, isolation,
and the erosion of integrity that comes from chronic over-giving.

You give so mich to others - clients, students, families, your community.
But holding space for everyone else can quietly take it's toll.

It’s easy to feel:

  • Emotionally drained or depleted after sessions
  • Unsure how to manage your boundaries or ethical dilemmas
  • Isolated in your practice
  • Unseen in your own professional growth
  • On the edge of compassion fatigue

You don't need to carry this alone.
This group offers a place to process, consult, and refill your well - surrounded by people who get it.

INTRODUCING...

The Informed Practitioner

❤️ Why This Matters

Most practitioners learn how to care for others - not how to care for themselves while doing it.
The result? Compassion fatigue, self-doubt, ethical stress, and chronic depletion.

The Informed Practitioner is here to change that.
This is your professional care plan - not another course to finish, but a rhythm to sustain you all year.

Stress, Shame & Self-Doubt in the Practitioner Role

Quiet the inner critic and strengthen your sense of worth in practice. Break the “I have to hold it all alone” cycle through community and peers.

Decision Fatigue & The Practitioner’s Mind

Reduce overwhelm by creating clarity and supportive routines. Stress doesn't discriminate between work life and personal life.

Navigating Difficult Client Relationships Without Losing Yourself

Stay ethical, clear, and compassionate when challenges arise. (When personal and professional boundaries blur.)

Trauma-Informed SALES for the Practitioner and the Client

Apply trauma-informed principles not just to clients, but to yourself.

Ethical Self-Disclosure & Professional Vulnerability

When and how sharing your humanity supports the work - without oversharing.

The Weight of Holding Space - Compassion without collapse

Explore the unseen impact of vicarious trauma and how to release it. Maintain empathy without tipping into compassion fatigue or burnout.

We have noticed a silent epidemic in the helping professions: practitioner burnout, isolation, and the erosion of integrity that comes from chronic over-giving.

The Informed Practitioner (T.I.P.) is a monthly support circle for healers, coaches, counsellors, and alternative practitioners who are doing big work: emotional labour, healing, therapy, and energy work.

You have a big heart and deep empathy - that’s your gift.

But it can drain your energy and wellbeing.
Here, we address the realities of modern practice through trauma-informed care, ethical leadership, self-regulation, and grounded business strategy.

You Hold So Much.

Let Someone Hold Space for You.

It’s time to sustain you, the practitioner - not just the practice.

The Informed Practitioner is co-created and led by:

Lea Morrison - trauma educator, coach, and therapist dedicated to helping practitioners cultivate resilience and trauma-aware care.

Meaghan Alton - economist turned intuitive business strategist and mentor for healers, coaches, and practitioners.
